Apothececary Art Card – For You

This beautiful card is made using the For You stamp from the Apothecary Art Stamp set. The edge of the card is cut using the new  Edgelits dies and the “For You” image is cut out with the Framelits Labels Collection die for the Big Shot from Stampin Up. A video on how to use these dies on YouTube (and listed below) is “How to use Edgleits & Framelits Dies“. The designer paper used is from the Beau Château collection and the ink and card stock is Marina Mist. This card can be used as an all occasion card.

Quick and Easy Journals

I made this scribbler journal for notes on Stampin’ Up’s My Digital Studio program for making cards, scrapbooks, journals and calendars.  I have made quite a few journals – they  make a nice quick easy gift for anyone. The scribbler is 5″x 7″.  I use these journals for sewing projects, online notes and Photoshop Elements notes etc.  The My Digital Studio (MDS) program is very easy to use and Stampin’ Up offers a 30-day free trial for  the Express Version so anyone to try it out before purchasing it.  The full version is $99.99 and comes with nearly 2000 stamp brush sets, embellishments, Designer Paper series, card stock and more!

Big Shot Framelits Dies and Edgelits Dies

Here are the new Framelits Dies and Edgelits Dies from Stampin Up! The innovative, thin, wafer-like design of these dies let’s you see where you’re placing the design before you cut!  You can layer the dies inside of each other to cut frames for stamped images (shown in the video below).  You’ll find these in the Spring Mini catalog on pages 6 & 7. They are easy to use with the Big Shot (layering shown below).  They add a nice touch to any project! Watch for card videos using these dies to follow! Remember When Card and Envelope

This stunning card was made using the Word Play stamp set for My Digital Studio (MDS) along with the beautiful Mocha Morning and Newsprint designer papers.  I opened MDS Word Play stamp set to stamp the Remember When image and then printed them from my computer. In MDS you can change the size, quantity, color and placement for your images.  The stamp files can be downloaded for use in MDS or other compatible programs such as Photoshop Elements (PSE). The MDS program is very user-friendly compared to  PSE but you have more options with PSE.  I received a card similar to this one from another demonstrator and then I made a couple of changes and thought it would be my next video. The envelope idea is shown on page 182 of the current Stampin Up catalog. Together they make a great pair!

Beautiful Wings Birthday Card

This card is super quick and easy to make. I have used a birthday greeting on this card but I have also used the same layout  with other greetings. I simply used the Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die to punch out the butterflies in three different colors. Pearls are then attached to each butterfly – a very quick, clean and easy card to make! Measurements are given in the video.
